Retreat Lodge
Welcome to Olympic Valley and Lake Tahoe, California. Our peaceful retreat center is a spacious modern home, built in 2018 of 6,000 square feet and nestled in the mountains.
It has six bedrooms with large glass windows and unparalleled views of KT22 and Palisades Ski area. Natural heated wood floors enhance the mountain ambiance while high ceilings create a spacious atmosphere. Depending on the time of year that you visit, you can enjoy yoga practice space outdoors on one of the expansive decks, or indoors with large windows, either offer stunning views.

Relax and connect with your group in one of two common areas inside with an ambient fireplace or around a movie. You can also unwind around a fireplace outside or hot tub that over look Sunnyside trail of Palisades, WaSheShu ski lift and the beautiful mountain.
The ski room provides ample space, equipped with a repair table, coat hanging and helmet shelves, ski/snowboard shelves and boot dryer cabinets for your group to make it easy to ensure you are ski out ready.
In the summertime, river, wildflower and waterfall hikes are available from out the door. We are happy to provide a guided summer hiking service.

A Queen bed and large private deck with the best views in the house. This room doubles as a yoga room depending the size of your group.

The Bunk Room
A California King Bed and 2 Queen Beds, closest to the Ski Room and Movie Room. Bathroom next door has a large shower with a spacious room for storing towels and private toilet room.

The Penthouse
A California King bed with access to common deck overlooking KT22, Private bathroom with large shower, toilet room, two sinks, and a bathtub.

A California King Bed with private deck, mountain views, private shower and toilet room, two sinks and walk-in closet.
The guest in this room would share the common bathroom on the first floor or shower and full bathroom on the lower level.

Retreat Hosts
Nicole
Lake Tahoe / Palisades has been home base to Nicole since 2017. She was drawn in by the allure of great outdoor recreation year-round. A distance runner, skier, and outdoor enthusiast, she was captivated by the stunning beauty of Tahoe’s endless running trails during the summer months.
Nicole studied Adventure Education and Cultural Anthropology at Prescott College and spent more than half of her studies in Latin America throughout her college career. In 2011, she completed her first yoga teacher training in Nayarit, Mexico. Her experiences in college inspired her to create epic health-focused adventure snd yoga retreats. Most involve outdoor exploration in unique landscapes, mindful movement, healthy balanced nutrition, and immersion into a new culture, which can include participation in ceremonies, song, or dance.
She completed a second 300-hour training in Rishikesh, India at the Association for Yoga and Meditation in 2018 and a third 200-hour with 26 & 2 Hot Yoga training in Monterey, Mexico in 2021. Nicole believes that the yoga student journey continues and there is always more to learn.
Nicole has created and facilitated yoga and adventure retreats in Lake Tahoe, Ca, Tepoztlan, Morelos, Mexico, Jalisco, Mx and the Sacred Valley in Peru.
Nicole and Joe met in yoga class and connected through their interests of yoga, skiing, and hiking. They are thrilled to offer an epic Lake Tahoe Retreat experience for you.
Joe
Over the last two decades Joe has immersed himself in the beauty and distinctive terrain of Palisades mountain. It started with ski leases in college, and each year Joe would spend more and more time in Lake Tahoe, forging a deep connection to the region. An ardent snowboarder, Joe envisioned a dream home as close as possible to the mountain to seamlessly blend recreation, solace, and adventure.
Joe’s yoga journey began 20 years ago; recognizing its transformative power in maintaining mental and physical balance, he has been a dedicated yoga practitioner since. This realization fueled his vision for a home that transcended a mere residence. Joe aspired to create a haven where friends and family can gather, and where winter activities like skiing and snowboarding were at the doorstep. It would have a dedicated space for yoga practice with an epic panoramic view of KT22 and Red Dog.
This dream gestated for a decade before it finally materialized into a reality. Today Joe’s beautiful modern retreat home stands in Olympic Valley, nestled on the Sunnyside run of Palisades mountain. It is a haven for anyone that loves the winter wonderland and also opens up to endless summer trails of wildflowers and waterfalls.
It is a place to reset; born from the fusion of being in awe of the incredible Lake Tahoe outdoors and the transformative journey of yoga, and the desire to share them.
